My Approach
My approach integrates skilled trauma therapy with a focus on developing hope, clarity, and purpose. Clients describe my style as warm, genuine, and approachable — someone who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and offers guidance without judgment.

I work collaboratively, helping you understand your experiences while inviting you to recognize your strength, significance, and resilience. When desired, I incorporate my Christian faith to help support your healing process. Regardless of beliefs, treatment remains guided by your goals, values, and evidence-based care.

My aim is for you to find support and strength through your own faith and values, and to feel confident in your ability to move through difficult seasons toward a life encompassing joy, peace, and fulfillment.

About Me
I’m Karah Logan, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy for children, teens, and adults across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. I specialize in trauma-focused treatment of issues such as PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, managing chronic stress, life transitions, substance use, and disordered eating/body image concerns.

My clinical approach integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and creative interventions as appropriate. I provide therapy that is practical, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s needs while honoring your values and beliefs. My Catholic faith guides my desire to help others find healing and may be thoughtfully integrated into therapy when clients wish, drawing from evidence-based approaches to spiritually integrated psychotherapy.

My experience includes past work as a dispatcher for the Massachusetts State Police, domestic violence advocate, crisis counselor, and substance use therapist. These roles gave me a practical perspective on stress, resilience, and recovery while strengthening my ability to remain calm under pressure.

Outside of work, I enjoy homeschooling, spending time with family and pets, exploring our beautiful coastal areas, and participating in my parish and faith community.
