My Approach
My approach integrates skilled trauma therapy with a steady, stable presence and a focus on developing hope and purpose. Clients describe my style as warm, genuine, and easy to connect with—someone who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and offers guidance without judgment.

I work collaboratively, helping you understand your experiences while inviting you to recognize your strength, significance, and purpose. When desired, I incorporate my Christian faith to inspire your own healing process. Regardless of beliefs, treatment remains guided by your goals, values, and evidence-based care.

My aim is for you to find support and strength in your own faith and values, and to feel confident in your ability to move through difficult seasons toward a life encompassing joy, fulfillment, and resilience.

About Me
I’m Karah Logan, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts. I specialize in trauma-focused treatment of issues such as PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, stress, substance use, disordered eating and body image concerns, as well as major life changes.

My clinical approach integrates EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and creative interventions when needed. I provide therapy that is practical, goal-oriented, and responsive to each client’s individual needs while also honoring the values and beliefs that are important to you.

My experience includes past work as a dispatcher for the Massachusetts State Police, domestic violence advocacy and crisis counseling, and substance use treatment settings. These experiences gave me a practical perspective on stress, resilience, and recovery while strengthening my ability to remain calm under pressure.

Outside of work, my interests include homeschooling, spending time with family and pets, and exploring our beautiful coastal areas. I enjoy being part of my faith community, most recently serving on the Pastoral Council, and have participated in several other parish ministries.
